Copper Speciation and Bioavailability in Gills Microenvironment of Carp

摘要: 对鲤鱼鳃部微环境进行了定量测量,建立了鲤鱼鳃部微环境的定量模型,对鱼鳃微环境进行了定量描述;通过暴露实验验证了EDTA络合态铜与高岭土颗粒吸附态铜对鱼鳃的生物有效性,并从形态变化的角度分析其存在有效性的原因,即络合态与颗粒吸附态金属随水流经过鱼鳃时,将会部分地发生离解,转变成为可以直接被鱼鳃吸收的形态。

Abstract: The gill microenvironment of carp was characterized using a two-apartment apparatus, and pH, alkalinity, mucus (expressed as total organic carbon, TOC) were modeled based on measured results. Copper uptake by gills at various concentrations of copper complexed with EDTA and bound to kaolin particulate was studied, and copper speciation in and out of the gill microenvironment was compared with chemical equilibrium model MINTEQA2. It was found that the copper uptake by gills increased with copper complex and particulate copper due to their dissociation in gill special microenvironment.
