The in-depth implementation of the new urbanization and rural revitalization strategy has pushed the urban-rural relationship into a new stage of integrated development. Based on Citespace1.0 software analysis and literature induction method, the paper identified the research hotspots of urban-rural relationship, reviewed the research progress of urban-rural relationship. Which included theoretical connotation and influencing factors of urban-rural relationship, measurement and evaluation of urban-rural connection, urban-rural spatial organization and development mode, and coordinated development of urban-rural areas and promotion strategy. Combining with the social economic background of information revolution and the change of urban-rural relationship in China, we points out that the construction of urban-rural relationship in the new period needs to change the traditional urban-rural relationship centered on the city, promote the integration of urban and rural areas and the formation of a new pattern of equal development between urban and rural areas. Based on this, we puts forward and discusses the construction and overall thought of a new urban-rural relationship toward urban-rural integration development. Then we proposes a framework for urban-rural integration analysis based on elements flow, puts forward the general idea of analyzing the characteristics, pattern and mechanism of urban-rural elements flow, which is supported by flow space theory and new mobility paradigm, multi-source data and visual analysis. The paper emphasizes the importance of measurement and evaluation of urban-rural relationship and the flow of urban-rural elements. The characteristics, pattern and mechanism of urban-rural factors flow, and the regulation and control strategy of the integration development of urban-rural areas are discussed in detail. The paper also explores the construction of the urban-rural integration database, the measurement of the flow of urban-rural elements and their spatial-temporal changes, and spatial simulation and visualization expression and other methods and techniques.

Ecosystem management is a synthetic applied ecology concerning ecosystem management theories, practical technologies, relevant policies and management strategies. It is not only an urgent need for the sustainable development of human society, but also an important tendency and scientific task of ecosystem management to develop integrated studies on models of global or regional scale ecosystem management and the relevant scientific problems. For this reason, we systematically expounded a series of important ecological topics, such as the synthetic evaluation and ecological mechanism of the services, sustainability, complexity, and indeterminacy of ecosystem, the ecological basis of natural resources conservation, ecosystem health, and the rehabilitation of degraded ecosystem, basic ecological processes for ecosystem management, theories and practice on adaptive management of ecosystem, ecosystem network study, monitor, and achievement integration, as well as synthetic special topic studies on regional scale ecosystem management etc. Research advances and tendencies of these topics at home and abroad were also reviewed.

Urban-rural development has always been illustrated as the interdependent and interaction relationship, represented by the free flow of population, commodities, capital and information between urban and rural areas, which, in some sense, guarantees the effective and efficient uses of resources in urban and rural areas. It is self-evident that the construction of regional infrastructure is a precondition for regional urbanization.The improvement of public infrastructure shortens the "spatial distance" between urban and rural areas, widens the built-up areas, pushes outside the urban fringe and forms, in some time, a new form of spatial complexity in which urban and rural areas are intensely mixed or "interlocked". The joint development of urban and rural areas depends on the increase of capital investment for infrastructures mainly cover transportation, telecommunication, education, medical facilities and welfare. We can safely come to a conclusion that regional infrastructure is indispensable to the development of urban and rural areas and lays the foundation for the relationship generation between regional infrastructure and urban-rural development. On the other hand, the strong interaction between urban and rural areas will promote the construction and improvement of regional infrastructure. Many scholars have paid much attention to the relationship between regional infrastructure and urban-rural development now. It has important implications for the construction of infrastructure and improvement of social and economic benefits to find out and assess the relationship between regional infrastructure and urban-rural development.
The urban-rural relationship is an important social connection and spatial connection not only at present but also a fairly long time of future in China, however the urban-rural integration is the basic trend of the urban-rural relationship development. The urban-rural relationship and integration course of Northeast China compared with other regions has universality and individuality as well. The paper selects Dalian, Changchun and Baicheng respectively as investigation objects on coastal large cities, large cities in the middle part of Northeast China and western medium-sized cities, then makes relatively deep positive research and comparison analysis on the urban-rural integration of the typical cities. The research mainly substitutes downtown area of the current administration division for city proper. The peripheral counties and a few distant suburbs are taken as rural regions. The villages and towns are selected as research units in order to describe the space-time difference of urban-rural integration inside the counties. The synthetical index method is adopted so as to evaluate the urban-rural integration course. The synthetical index of urban-rural integration is composed of the development level of economy, the non-agriculture level of village, social fairness and welfare, traffic and daily connection etc., which is between 0 and 100 and is obtained by ratio between each index of village microcosmic region(village and town, county) and each index of central city weighted sum. The conclusion by the synthetical index method and observation is that the urban-rural connection is strengthened gradually and is tending to diversify, the peripheral regions around the central cities has engendered spatial sequences of four classes, including advanced integration region (the first class), medium integration region(the second class), primary integration region(the third class), and the traditional village region(the fourth class). The integration region sequences of four classes in Dalian is complete. In addition the advanced integration region has come into being and is expanding, the urban-rural relationship tends to integrate, Changchun region lacks the first class, Baicheng has the third class and the fourth class only, the urban-rural dual structure is still obvious. The first and second class integration region can be looked upon as functional urban area (the metropolitan area). The urban-rural integration course is positively related to per capita GDPhe representative of the development level of economy. The paper aims to advance the research of this kind of question in science by quantitative investigation on the space-time course of the urban-rural integration of each city proper. The mentioned above three types can represent the whole condition and space difference of the course in northeast region. The conclusion can be taken as a basis while all kinds of specific questions, such as the Northeast regional urbanization, the urban-rural relationship, the delimitation of functional urban region, and the urban-rural development strategy are researched.
